I tried this before, but I will make it simpler this time. Can anyone help me please?
I have 4 aileron servos with a futaba 9c super and a 7ch receiver. I want to use all ailerons for roll control and then be able to drop the center two as flaps with the flip of a switch. PLEASE HELP I have tried flaperons, p mixes, butterfly, airbrake, and aileron differential. You can setup aileron differential, which seems like the best bet, but there is no place to set a switch for this function?!!! When I go to "servo" in the main menu to see what it did, it changes nothing. Yes, it is active. Also whats the difference between "active" and "on". There are two places in P mixes to turn them on or off? Please help,

Put the radio into Glider mode GLID2FLP its a pre-programmed mix. It's in the manual.

Set up the two inner ailerons as flaperons. It's easy to understand in the book, then slave the outer ailerons to channel 1.

Ok, when I try crow, I get to the third step and set up airbrake. They say "set it to switch c in the down position". There is no place to set a switch!! What am I missing?
I gave up on that and decided to just try the flaps mix. I can get the two inboard ailerons mixed with the two outboard ailerons, but how do you get the inboard ones to operate as flaps? Flap trim? Several of those mixes dont even have any place to assign a switch. How do you do that? I have drained an entire battery on the transmitter just trying to program one plane. I finally hit the low voltage warning, and its on charge right now. I will try the flaperon mix on the inner two next. Carlos- what mix is it under in the gl2? |

Here's a pointer to the latest manual..
http://www.futaba-rc.com/manuals/9c-manual-v1_2.pdf Look at bottom of page 69. Note: "ACRO lacks programming for full-span ailerons". page 68 If you used ACRO you would need to use Y harnest's on flap and Aileron channels and a mix to achieve the same. What reciever are you using?? Are all the channels linear. Usually the last channel is on or off for Futaba receivers.. Last edited by Lowkey3D; 04-13-2006 at 10:11 PM. |

Thank you VERY much. That is what I needed. I must have an older manual. I will look through that.
I'm using a 7ch 127 receiver. |
