With all respect to the great products of EF, can we also expect any changes in the continuous supply shortage?

Just only at my club a fellow member got himself a PAU after he wrecked his EF Extra becaue they were not in stock for many weeks. Another member fixed the wrecked plane but is waiting for a canopy to become available. The 300EXP was sold out for some time, as well as the Chinn Yak which I recently purchased.

Even through I'm relocating to Europe, I think I'll be one of the firsts to get myself the Edge before they're out of stock again for a long time

I'm relocating to Valencia Spain and there's no EF dealer in Spain. There's one in my home country the Netherlands so will ask them...

Think I'm gonna stock some EF planes and sell them double the price on eBay

We do the best we can to keep up with the demand but there are many factors involved and one of them is the amount of time it takes to get them to us. Most things are sold before we even get them and trying to "Guesstimate" how many of each product is not an easy thing at times. How much fitting into a container is another factor.
We want everyone to be happy and provide the best product possible and also to keep as much product in stock as we can at all times.....

I see a lot of threads on the various sites about poor quality, and bad service. I also read that many ARF companies are experiencing poor sales due to the tuff economy. Some well known ones have even closed. Chris and the EF group seem to be having the opposite problem. They seem to be having difficulty keeping up with demand. I believe this is due to:

Great, well tested designs

Good quality control

Fantastic customer service

Chris's seemingly limitless support for the Hobby, and events. His generosity is well known.

Glad to see that this business model still works here.

I have been waiting for one of the new 78" Extra 300s for just short of a year. I know when it gets here next month, it will be a special product, and I will be happy I waited.

Totally agree with your comments. The only thing that drives me nuts is how impatient some of these people are. I know it takes more time to get the best product out there but when you get it you really understand what the difference is.

If you want something bad enough you can wait on it.

I really do like EF planes and I have no problem with waiting on one of them.
