Tight budget and .90 heli do not go in the same sentence. Have you ever flown a heli before?

If you're going to go cheap, stay away from 90 size helis. What kind of money are you looking to spend?

yes--- I have a century hawk 30 now, budget wise I havent set a firm number but I have most of the electronics, I was more interested in a middle of the road chopper. what I meant by tight budget was I cant get a Minature Aircraft right now. I have even considered buying a used heli
but I havent found anything that made me feel all warm and fuzzy yet.

A .90 reacts nothing like your heli. How good are you? Can you fly in any orientation? There are very few unexpensive .90. I would buy a T-Rex 700n. You don't need to go crazy on the electronics. Just get a good kit with "normal" gear.

I have 2 synergys for sale right now.... 1800 for one RTF, or 750 for the airframe only with all hyper upgrades.... A crash on a 90 will run you 3 large minimum.

I'd be worried about buying the cases of 30% to feed a 90 size!

let me fill you in a little so you can better help me
I can fly a chopper I do not fly inverted or 3d with choppers
I have most of the stuff that I call nickle & dime stuff - gyro, servos, reciever, setup tools ect.ect.
I use a futaba 9chp super
I have a very experianced heli pilot to help when I need him
I own and fly a century hawk 30 now
I have flown a rapter 50 & a 90 size ma that didnt belong to me
I am looking for input on a fair priced 90 size chopper like maybe gohbee, rapter.or such
not looking for triple chrome plated to the 3rd power upgrades just a basic fly around chopper bigger than what I have
thanks

I would personally get a good 50 like a Vibe 50 or 600N and put good equipment in it rather than a low budget 90.

What servos and gyro do you have?

So basicly what is left to purchase is the engine/muffler and the kit? I think that you will not find a big difference in kit prices, my guess is a max of 100$ difference. Than there are not a lot of engine out there and they are all the same price. The muffler can make a difference so a regular one should do.

In my experience, what makes a big difference in price is the gear you put in, servos, gyro, etc.. You have all of that already. So this thread is to help you save what, 150$ max?

Go get the Align kit, it is in the middle of the pack price wise but the cost per crash is by far the best.

I would recommend a good 50 size chopper for you. THe 90's are alot of chopper to maintain and repair after a crash. IMHO the align choppers are the best for pricing and when you buy repair parts they are usually 2 to a package. The 600n can be upgraded later on to as you progress more. This is just my opinion though.

You want a 90? Than just do it , you WILL love it no matter if you 3D or not. Trex700 or a Vibe 90 would be my personal choices.

I will tell you this, i actually like a 50 size better for learning new things, less strees while flying and way less to repair.

Just my 2 cents
