I have a chance to trade for an what appears to be old jr venture 30 heli with 2 gyros (jr gt 500 & futaba gy 401. I don't have alot in the plane and wanted to get back into helis as it has been years since my last raptor 30. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've had 4-5 of them...If you're just flying around they're o.k. stable and easy to repair..If you're hoping to 3-d you'll need to update it to a 5o with motor,boom,blades... Depends on where you're going with the flying.... Be a good one to brush the dust off your thumbs...

I agree
and depending what you value you plane at, it could be a good deal for you if it is ready to fly considering a 401 with servo is around $220
