I have both...well not exactly...I have Comp-Arf 3.0 Yak...and a Krill 37% Yak. Both will do IMAC very well..The Krill will come in lighter...The Compy will be easier to put together and is more durable...but both will do everything you want. For IMAC...I would go for the Compy...if you are into 3d..go for the Krill..Neither one will dissapoint.

i was just checking the krill site out. i was thinking of getting on of their models but the price difference between a 33% krill and a 33% compy is huge. i'm not too sure if the 33% prices are suggested retail but from what i see, its something more like a $400 difference. is the krill that better than a 2.6 comparf or maybe a 2.6 xtreme composite to justify the price difference.

The Krill Katana is about 4200 dollars for just the airframe,, and the Comp Arf 3.0 extra 260 is 2700, both of those prices is without shipping,, in my opinion,, I don't think any airframe is 1500 dollars difference, if you know what i mean,, I personly like the Comparf better you can get parts readily,, etc, etc,

Ever notice that all the "Celebrities of IMAC & 3D" had a krill and then sold'em???
I have personal knowledge of a buddy who bought a Krill, they included the wrong canopy and never sent him the correct canopy.... so my point is, the might be awesome flying planes... but I bet Comp-Arf support is better....errrr... less bad. COmp-Arf is a less risky purchase IMHO |
