Default QQ 73ii Yak Landing problem

Hi,

I have a QQ Yak 54 73 inch version with a OS 160 FX with perry pump and pitts mufler. The CG is like in the manual.

Everything is ok... until the landing.

On my flying field the landing strip is not too long . With every other plane that I have is ok.. Including 8kg ultimate but with the yak is a nightmare.

The plane come long and hard on the landing .. verry long and when I try to come easy .. it take me by suprise and stall.. What is my problem ?.. the CG is dead on like in the manual , the prop is 18x8 W

Every landing is a nightmare... please help .

I don't expect to land like my Funtana S140 but still.... on every landing the landing gear is damaged..

Do you use flaps ?

Hi There,

Seems to me you might have heavy wing loading. What is your weight?

Try flying at a 45 degree upline, roll inverted and let go of the sticks. If it's nose heavy, which is sounds like, it should immediately drop the nose; if it's tail heavy, the nose will rise. If it flys nose heavy, move the CG back 1/4 inch fly it again and see how it lands. My guess is that it will land better too.

The engine is OS 160 FX (see first post) with pitts mufler. JR 8411 , 2 lipos 1500 and 10 amp regulator.
The weight .. about 5.2 kg ..(11.4 lbs) I don't know exactly ...

On the CG test after inverted the plane looks ok.. doesn't drop or rise .. I'll try again, maybe the first time whe wind or.. i don't know ...mess with my tests.

The 1/4 inch will make a difference even the CG is like in the manual and on the flying test looks ok ?

With this setup the plane need aditional weight on the front to balance .It's ok ?
