Default 2008 TAS THURSDAY
Thursday morning at the 2008 TAS and the competition is in full swing. The pilots are showing what they are made of now. The initial stage fright of being here is gone, and the pilots are flying their hearts out producing some of the best flights we have seen so far. When not flying the pilots are locked into heavy concentration practicing with stick planes going over and over the maneuvers to get the next flight perfect!

Sportsman, Intermediate, Advanced and Unlimited are all flying with two flight lines in operation. This is moving the program along at a really fast pace. It's 10:30am, and we are onto the second round of flights for today! We have Invitational coming up shortly, and then we start the Freestyles tomorrow.

Kiwi is continuing to take videos of sequences and I'm snapping pictures at a blistering pace.
Below you will find a sample of this mornings shots. The rest will be in the 2008 TAS Gallery.

ALSO... at the butt crack of dawn this morning, I happened to sneak over to Desert Aircraft and took a peek around in this world famous spot. I'll post some pictures later, and Hmmmmm could a DA cribs be in FG's future??

Hey guys, I gave Kiwi a break and just finished filming around 8 or 9 of the invitational sequences... as soon as we get back to the Hotel later we will upload them. Some KILLER FLYING took place!!!

(And YES WAYNE, I got Andrew flying your plane! )

Tons of photos and videos to come.

Its 2:10pm, and the wind is starting to pick up a bit (Imagine that)

We will see if the weather holds out for the weekend.
