Default I hope the weatherman is wrong!

Guys, the weather man has set us up for a questionable day.
30 - 35% chance of thunderstorms, and 25 - 35 mph winds.

And by the looks of the weather scene out of our hotel window, the "Chance" of thunderstorms looks promising. The leading edge picture shows a big storm out over the mountains.
Lets all hope that storm moves on, so we can get in some great flying today.

We have our fingers crossed. And we will keep you updated as the morning progresses.

Watching the loop from Nexrad. Weather might pass by. I'm wondering about winds forecast to gust near 45mph between 12pm and 2pm.

I grew up in Tucson and the weather changes very fast. I can hardly remember a storm or rain showers sticking around for a whole day. If it looks that bad this morning, by the afternoon, it could be perfect flying weather after the storm passes. Good luck.

Just got word from the field from NCFRgal...

"The word just came down, freestyle is back on! The wind has died down enough."

And " The temperature just dropped about 10 degrees after that dust devil went through. It changed instantly! Crazy!"
