Well guys, the weather gods granted us a stay of execution. The winds are still blowing, but flying has commenced.

The day's schedule will be as follows:

Sportsman - Unlimited - fly one round each of Unknowns then Knowns

Then we do Invitational Unknowns, Invitational Freestyle, and then Invitational Knowns (Schedule B)


The wind is going to make all flights a challenge, but freestyle should be INTERESTING!

We will continue to bring you the best up to the moment coverage.

We don't have the internet access out in Tucson to do a live feed. Sleepy and Kiwi are doing their best to keep pictures and stuff flowing as much as they can...stay tuned!

Guys the wind is up around 35 - 45 mph.
If you have ever seen the Wildberry 2004 TAS video, its a full on repeat.
Each landing is a challenge, and they are landing cross runway.

Giant plumes of dust are flying everywhere, and the pilots are just dealing with it.

OK guys, the invatational pilots have decided to fly the unknown, BUT they have canceled the freestyle for today.
All but 3 pilots felt that with the wind conditions, there is no way to properly fly the freestyle.

As always we will keep you posted.
