That looks like a promising airplane! Are there any flight reports yet? I see you are using the latest technology by putting the ailerons on the front of the top wing, do you find that it does torq rolls better, or more for straight huckin?

If you r using regular mufflers try to keep the plane to 24 to 25 pounds and I vote H9 Extra 260. If you EQ is going to bring the plane up to 27 or so pounds start lookin at a tuned pipe. My friends 85 greeves tuned pipe 27.7 pound Python had great power to weight. I also flew the 85 with pitts on a guys Wild hare 35% extra In Nashvile he said he never weighed it but the thing had to be about 25 pounds because it had great powere to weight his had more power than my slightly heavy 33%er. Also the QQ yak would also be a good one lol.

QQ 101" Yak 54. This plane is made specifically for the DA 85 so that CG is not an issue. Awesome airplane for 3D and precision. This is the airplane that I flew at the IMAC Nats in Advanced this year.

This is a great plane for the 85. Completely based on the 85 so no modifications have to be made or CG issues. Comes in around 25 lbs. and flies precision and freestyle both nicely. The price right now can't be beat either. $749 for a plane of this size and ability is very rare. You will absolutley love it!

Have you considered either the JTEC/Radiowave 2.5 or 2.7 Extras? Both Fly well with a 85 on them. I am in the process of putting together a 2.5 for myself with a DA 85.
