Guys, looking for header drop for this airplane w/da150. Was told 3 inches which converts to 76mm, should I use 70mm flex?

db, Call DA for the right info, they will know exactly. Also, Im thinking about getting this plane also, my yak just doesnt do real well in the presicion dept., also pipes are possible, but its much more than just hacking the fuse to fit them, there will be a cg problem. Keep us in the loop on your progress.

Mike, I will call da and get an answer. I am planning on pipes on my 260 and believe that they are doable with only the modification of two formers and removal of the back of the cannister tunnel.
My 260 flys pretty well on a DA150 with muffs at this point but still setting it up and adding mixes. The only tendancy I am fighting with now is keeping the power on longer than I am used to with my smaller airplanes (first 40% for me). If I do not it wants to rollout over the top. Not sure I am explaining that right....

I have one of these planes as well, setup with a 3W 170 on LL90k cans, PB royal, and fromeco bats. This plane is awesome. I also have their 37.5 yak and the 35% yak. For the money you cannot beat these planes.

Was looking again and depending on the length of the pipes it might be more work than I want to do to get them installed. Can anyone tell me if I went with cans like the ks95 over pipes would I notice any performance gain or are they mostly for noise reduction?

Cans are mostly for noise, you might get a few more rpm but not much. Pipes....I know Greves are 39" long, the MTW RE3's are @ 34-35" long. A buddy here has KS cans on a 150 and its really quiet. one guy has an 85 on a mTW 110 and its really quiet too. Im thinking about a pair of 110's for my 170. Thats about all I know about these, you could ask or look in other threads to get more info.
