Hi,
what exactly causes the strange noises when most part of thecomposite plane (like the big comp arf yak33 3.3) does fast roll or snap?? Thanks for any imput |

It is caused by the small gap between the inboard tip of the aileron and the wing and the fact that those tips are not capped like they would be on a traditional arf.

i asked the same thing at tucson and was told buy a builder that it was the hindge line on the ailerons so hahaha we almost have the whole wing covered

yes you are right, its basically the gap on the ailerons, the air whistles over it and through it to the tips, i believe. its not just in roll, with my 33% electric, you get it when pulling up
