Default 41% Trueworthy Pitts 12 build

Here we go,
I have seen a lot of build threads on here but I think this plane will be a first for FG.

WARNING:: This is not a super fast BBW type of build, Walt has crazy skills and puts in several(or more) hours a day to get the plane done for his customer. I however will build as fast as I can, which means at best 3 hours a day of "workshop time". I stay at home during the days raising my 3 little girls(3.5 year old and twin 1.5 year olds, who are currently all napping), I also work part time in the evenings so I usually get from 9 to midnight in the workshop and occasionally the "OMG they are all napping at the same time, lets go glue some sticks together time".

Anyway lets get started,
This is a Trueworthy 41% Pitts Model 12, 109" upper wingspan.
It is a short kit, which means he gives you the plans and all laser cut parts you will need, plus landing gear, wheelpants, cowl, scoop, cabanes, etc.. I didnt expect to get the horizontal and vertical stabs as you can see in the picture, they are 3 piece sandwich(more on those later)
The builder must supply the straight wood(ie. sticks and sheeting) I have a order on the way from Balsa USA of about 150 dollars.

These first pics show the kit as it came from Bob Trueworthy.

This pic is the glue that will be holding all the hardwood together. Thanks to the guys at Aerographix
for bringing this glue to the RC world. This is the starter kit.

There was a little bit of laser burn on some of the parts so 120 grit and a palm sander took care of that.

A couple more pics and observations:

Mini funtana has a smaller wingspan than motorbox is long.
The eflite pitts 12 cowling is 15% and gets lost inside a 41% cowling
All the motorbox parts laid out ready to be glued

I bought this kit from a guy who had bought it from Bob back in late 06. I would like to thank Bob Trueworthy and Jim and Kevin Kimball for this aircraft, without both parties this wouldn't be possible. I also think that Quique deserves some praise for his work with the Model 12 styles both the Python and now the Ti-12.
For anybody who doesn't know what the finished product will look like here are some pics of Mr. Trueworthy's(red and white) and Buddy Hales'(orange)
As far as more kits, the last I had heard was when Bob said that he planned to do a run this winter. If I hear anything definite I will post it on here.
Quique has his Python on sale right now 200 dollars off, I would jump on one if I didnt have this build going on.
