The new shipment of PAU edges is days away and I for one am stoked about a new 43%. But I haven't seen a word on here about it.............. I can't be the only one waiting on these. Sound off, maybe we can get a multiple build thread going. I'm going to be going light as possible and trying it out with an Evolution 116. I think for the sport flying, 3d wanna be, flying I do it will be enough, but if not the 152 is just around the corner.
What set-up are you planning? |

There was mention of them in other threads (both Edge's build threads) getting received at the wharehouse and being shipped out starting next week. I have the 36% on order as well and can't wait to get mine. Also getting the Ultimate as well (shipping at both the same time). I plan on adding to the build threads or maybe starting a new one. Anyone else looking at doing a build thread?

I am thinking of redoing the color scheme on the plane or planes as well, just to personalize them. May wait till next year to do them, not sure yet. I will see what I feel like over the winter.

Mostly at a tiny little club just outside of Holden basically a good friend of mine running a hobby shop out of his workshop in the evenings and on his days off......... a long way from Fort Mac.
Next year I think I'm going to have to get a membership at a club closer to the city though, I winde up spending two hours driving that I could spend flying every time I go. How about you? |

Up here in Fort McMurray (just south of the city aprox 15 min from my house) at Fort McMurray RC Modelers Club. I also flew, while on vacation, in Edmonton (South side) at Capital City Flyers (CCF). May get a membership there for next year, since I due spend some time around that area. Nice club, nice field, and nice people.

I got my 43% out of the crate yesterday and within 15 minutes had found a crunched wingtip and two other minor flaws, so I spent the day puttering around on other projects. Sat down at my computer last night with a few pics, and typed up an email to Herve. Less than a half hour later he'd replied stating that the plane will be replaced and provided the warranty invoice. Instant good service on a saturday evening, what else can you ask for? I don't think the guy takes a day off actually, I emailed back and forth with him today about throwing a few other things in the box with the new airframe to save shipping, as it has been every time I email him the response was lightning fast, pleasant, and helpful.

Sorry to hear about the damage, glad to hear that Herve is taking care of it right away. Just got my packages and will be opening them up shortly. The outsides look good, a couple of dings but they don't look like they go in.
