I was recommended to seek advice here so here I am.
I've only just started using digital servos and bought myself some JR8711's When I swapped the analog servos for the digitals I keep hearing like a violin sound when the transmitter sticks are moved and held in any position . The sound goes away when the servo is centered but increases in pitch when resistance is added to the moving surface. If I tap the moving surface when the servo is moved to a position and held there the noise also goes away which I guess means its slightly sticking. The same situation is on all surfaces to a <> degree but is noticeable when high rate switches are flicked. My question is: Is this a normal sound for digi servos or does it indicate a problem with the servo? If the noise is normal then i can fix the slight sticking on the surface. I know with analog servos theres a distinctive humming noise when load is applied especially when the surface binds which mine are not. I checked. Sorry if this is a dumb question. New things take time to get used to. Thanks for any help Pete |

Digital servo's are definitely noisy. They will hum quite a bit, even around center(especially on ailerons). To me, this sounds like normal noise to me.

just make sure there is no binding and the surface can move freely.
