Default Best 3D 50cc-60cc plane???

I'm new to gassers ... heck, I've only been flyin' for two seasons now! Anyhow, I'm currently flying a Wild Hare Edge 540T...weighs right at 20lbs with a ZDZ 60. Flys great, but still thinkin' of switching to either a Wild Hare Sukhoi or AeroWorks Extra 260 or Pitts Python. Of course I'd use all the gear from my current plane in a new one. I hate to replace a perfectly good plane, but lighter is better...atleast for 3d, am I right?! My edge does seem to have alot of wing rock...now I'm just making up excuses...all opinions welcome!!!

Get another WH Edge. No better customer service. Newer planes are lighter and better. Or go with a PAU Edge. Either one is a good choice.

Engine died.......less than 100 feet up.......while doing a snap to a stall......couldn't keep it from going into some trees. Needless to say, after getting the fuselage out of a tree...a wing off the ground...and the other wing out of a different tree.....a new plane is in the plans sooner than I thought. The edge will fly again....maybe next year. I'm really thinking about the wild hare sukhoi! Maybe even the aeroworks extra 260......

Coming at at under 17 pounds with a DL-50 and a cannister, flying on 1475 squares, and coming out of the box with carbon gear, spars, sleeves, and wing bags, I'm going to have to say this one . . .

I've had a few 50cc planes and I've found my favorite to be the 30% PAU Edge. This plane is very stable and excels in both 3D and precision.Performs walls without any dropping of either wing, rock solid elivators with no wing rock and perfect flat spins both up right and inverted.Along with that there is very little if any roll or pitch coupling to mention.
I have 2 Carden Edges and this 50cc Edge by PAU does it all.

Airwild Edge 540T comes in just under 15Lbs with a DA 50,no wing rock with this bad boy if you find the right angle of attck. I own both Airwild's 50cc series awsome flyers IMHO!

Airwild is king of light weight that's for sure. Great for those high altitude flying fields.
