Sorry to hear of your crash rcolle, good to see you had the Katana sorted out to fly.
Am still getting great flying out of my Katana and the DL50 is running sweet. It flys good in the wind but just have to watch those landings and don't slow up to much or lose all engine revs. Have stressed the UC twice from stalls. Strengthened the Al UC on the bend at the fuse by half doubling to increase vertical strength while still allowing give for horizontal loading. It works a treat, as after a hit on a rabbit hole once and a heavy landing on a stall another time, the UC deformed both times and just needed straightening to go again, no damage to fuse. |
