So...I have decided to go bigger and badder! My EF 88" Yak needs a bigger brother. I have always loved biplanes. My dad and I built a full scale Christen Eagle and flew the pants off of it. We even won some awards and flew her to Oshkosh. However, in my 16 years of RC flying I have never had a biplane. Now I want one and really want to run the baddest smoke set-up (never had smoke either). No IMAC. This plane will be purely for free-style flying and smoking out the field in low hovers!!!!! I am planning something in this size range (100cc) and just wanted to get some opinions. Plus I know a lot of companies are getting read to release new planes. I love the QQ python and the price of the BME ultimate (just don't really care for the color scheme). Any thoughts or is there another plane out there I am not aware of?
Mark

the QQ is great! you couldn't go wrong there.... BUT... i really love the PAU ulty! it is by far the most affordable and the color scheme is absolutely BEAUTIFUL in person. i too was worried about liking the scheme when i ordered it but man, it is awesome in person!!!!!!
the PAU is VERY powerful with an older 3W100 std on it and it is absolutely unlimited in verticle and high alpha performance. this is a great plane that not everybody has. it is just different enough to cause quite a stir at any flying field! this is a relatively heavy plane. ours came in right at 28lbs with a 3w100, std muffs, 5955's all around swb rudder trey, duralite power box sc12 and 3 duralite batteries, jr921 2.4 dsm system, 3w smoke system and 2 32oz tanks. this is a floater and really handles the wind well at the same time. you can't go wrong either way but the PAU is my favorite!

I've had both. My pick is the QQ Python. Check the videos on it.

I would have to pick the Python also. The Ulti is an old design that hasnt had any tweaks over the years. QQ's Python on the other hand, was repeatedly redesigned until it was as close to perfect as a model can be. If you were to move up to the 150/170cc size, then I would say the H9 Ulti for sure.
