Hello,

Well the votes as of 5 24 2006 with postings and emails is as follows:

40% Yak 54 69 Votes
42% Extra 91 Votes
40% Sukhoi SU26mx 106 Votes
Velox Rev II 22 Votes
42% Giles 300 5 vote

Im will make a final decision at the end of the month. I also wanted to announce that Futaba will be stepping up to make the airplane complete with a Radio (TBA) recievers, servos etc. I would like to thank Frank Knoll and Amanda for helping with this. The plan is to fly the plane right after the winner is announced and let the winner get to fly it that day. We will have a total list of sponsors by the end of the month. Please support them all and the event.

Hello,

Well the Votes have been counted. The 40% Sukhoi 26 is the clear winner and we will go with that plane for the Tucson Raffle. We will have a build thread going when it is started. Thank you all for the votes in the forum and emails.

Thanks
john

John,

Thats a hell of a prize and I have to say extremely generous by any standards.

I hope I can make Tucson and have my number in the barrell for a chance to win it. The hobby just would not be what it is today without the support and generosity of the major players the likes of yourselves, Futaba etc.

From the modelling comunity at large mate I am sure a big thanks is in order.

Great stuff.

Hello,

Thanks for the kind words on the plane. The manufacturers that have stepped up and support us with this venture are the major backbone in the industry and we all have the same goals. Its our 3rd year doing this and we hope many more to follow.

Take Care

John

Hey John,
Let me know when you get that plane in the bones. I'll come over and take some measurements and get a cover built to go with it.
Any idea on the scheme yet?

The scheme will be all white with a nice touch of primer gray on the cowl and wheelpants.
