The Extreme Flight 123" Extra is probably going to be the best. But time will tell.

EF 123" Extra 300 all the way!
The Krill Katana, Carden and Dalton kits are good as well, but I'd definently go with EF. There planes are the best on the planet!![]() PERIOD! |

Lots of GREAT airplanes out there... depends what you like, how much 3D vs. Precision, wood vs. composite, kit vs ARF/ARC, bipe vs. mono etc.
Some that I like... 3W Yak (have flown one - wow) or 3W Extra 330S (own one - wow) Comp-Arf 3.3m Yak (bigger than 40% - seen them fly - big and S-L-O-W) Carden Extra 300 (have flown one) Dalton MEL (seen them fly) Godfrey Extra A big 3W or Comp-Arf bipe would be awesome too. I'm finishing up a 40% TOC Pitts. 46% H9 Ultimate... Truworthy 41% (if you can get a kit) If you can store/transport it I would look at the Hempel 50% Yak 55M... not many reports on it yet but it should be spectacular. All these airframes are great (and some are expensive)... but the equipment, engine etc is the bulk of your cost. |

50% is way to much for my liking, I like the 118- 123" wing span range.

I have not flown my 40% yak yet but I have had a chance to flt my Comp-ARF 3m 260 and I have to say that the 260 really is a great plane to fly, I am an extra man, I have flown the 300's and the 330's till I was blue in the face, when I got the 260 in the air that plane is sooo solid it's not even funny, the more I fly it the more I like it, just go with the three servos in the wing if you want to do 3D with it, I haven't been throwing mine around that hard yet and have blown 4 servos in only 10 flights, the left side locked up on the up side and liked to planted my plane for a perminent dirt nap, I will tell you about the Comp yak next weekend
