What do you guys think about the plane? Flying, finnish, hardware?
I had a few 50cc AW's and think those where top of the line in finnishand hardware.
Hi Anders,

I'm flying my Ultimate with a DA170 and Proflow canisters and so far I like this combination very much. One of my friends that has flown the plane has commented that he thought the DA200 would be a great engine choice for the Ultimate so I'm sure you'll be very happy with a lightened DA200. The kit includes the same high quality hardware that Aeroworks includes with all their kits. I installed the two rudder servos in the tail (push pull) and mine did come out rather tail heavy and required large batteries all the way to the firewall to balance but with the DA200 you should have no problem at all. The only problem I've had is the canopy distorting (not too badly) after having the plane out on a hot sunny day. This was my first black airframe and I was surprised by just how hot it got and how quickly it happened. I try to remember to keep it covered now and I haven't had any further problems. All in all it's a great airplane and I think you will be very happy with it.

The only things I would say about quality were for an airframe coming from Aeroworks that costs this much... The hardware was not the best quality, I binned the AW ball links after a couple of flights due to slop causing flutter !
I will be putting a descent pair of wheels on her for next season instead of the nasty foamy things that are supplied.
last but probable most important check very carefully ALL glue joints that are visible. I found some on mine in the rear fuz area had a 1/4" gap between the former and the fuz side !
That being said now the CG is sorted it flies like a dream and I love it.
Enjoy
