Yeah, I agree... there aren't that many! I know of none myself! maybe some warbirds... Honestly some American made things are just too much right now, a lot of people can't afford to pay that extra money for there hobbies... Too many bills, kids and other things to worry about, so when it comes down to it you have to save every buck you can even if it means buying Arfs from China and not U.S. No one complains about the Jeans that they are wearing, or the TV that they watch, or about the Controller that they use to fly there planes! IMO... This has been going on for years, (copying planes) but the "American Dealer/designer" keeps going over there and getting his planes built! knowing about the low pay that some of the workers get,or the copyright laws, but he doesn't care he just wants to get his planes for cheap so he can make a good profit off of them... and When it comes back to bite em in the ars they get mad! Thats why when someone comes to me and says that I'm wrong for supporting China/Taiwan or whatever business I just don't pay them any mind. Because you do it TOO!!!

Wow! I just read the entire story on RCU. I hope Sleepy and the FG know about this. That extra looks like an exact copy!

Ron ! Get yer butt out and fly what you got !

What is the torsion load on the spinner's backplate ? - wouldn't that be next to nill if the mass of the spinner itself is next to nill ?

Hey guys I am well aware that most the arfs are coming from China. I was talking about the companies over here that design them and have production setup in China. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion so please respect everyone elses. I am not knocking you for yours, and yes I agree if the arfs where built over here they would be very expensive!

Robert,
I misunderstood you post the first time I read it. After re-reading it, I figured you meant just the building portion. Sorry for any confusion.

HMMMM, I saw post #33 said something about a 150cc Katana.
This sounds intersting as I am in the market for something of the 150cc size.

Yes thats right this factory is starting production of a 150cc Katana. I have ordered #01 of the line. They are doing it for me in a custome sheme

This is their standard scheme for the Katana

I already have the 35% Yak 54 and I tell you that this is the best arf kit I have ever seen. I you are in the market then have a good look you will be impressed. Mine will be here in Jan 09
