Hi guys, got my 50cc Extra 260 in hunter scheme yesterday, from IAD Model Designs. Unbelievable quality, from the packaging (best I've ever seen), covering, fiberglass & glued joints - top quality. This is up there with the best!

Going with a CRRC Pro 50, Spekky 2.4 Gz, JR servos.

What's the best way to free up the wing & tail tubes slightly? They are too tight and just need easing a bit (alum. version). And where do you see the serial no.?

Looking forward to flying this, but UK is the coldest it's been for 12 years at the mo!

Hey Wiltshire1
the best way to clean up the wing tube sockets is to use a wood dowel that is a little smaller that the wing tube. glue some 150 grit sand paper on the dowel (I use 3M super 77 glue) and gently sand the wing tube sockets.
be sure check the fit so you do not take to much material off.
I had to do this to my H9 Suhkoi and it worked great.
I have the Pilot RC 97" extra 260 it flys great. your going to love plane
good luck

also great job Pilot!

BTW Thanks for posting the pictures of the 300. I hope that convinces everyone that it is not a copy of "you know who". I especially like the Cowl Ring design much more than the cheaper unfinished look of exterior fasteners that the other designs use. From what I gather it may be considerable lighter than the other 50cc Extra.

Now, only if I can decide which ones to order...and what scheme. I think the extra is a sure bet but the 107 Yak is definitely a must have too...even though I have a 100cc yak I think I will have to upgrade to your new offering... Keep up the great work. I will keep on moving out some the old stuff and make room for your fine new models

I'm interested in a 100cc katana because you just dont see that many katana's. Has anyone flown one and how does it compare to the yaks and extras in 3D flight.
