I think the Pilot rc company is going to be very positive for our hobby. Their prices great right now and their color schemes are awesome. Yes the Russian scheme on the 30% yak looks identical to my Toc SD yak. I got one 3 years ago and the cowl discolored slightly because of some bad clear coat. But other than that its a great color scheme to see in the air. Pilots combo deals are awesome to right now and they offer the carbon fiber upgrades very cheap. Check out their website pilot-rc .

Its worth a try at very least.
It is my understand that the guys at Pilot-RC came from SD when Thunder Tiger bought out SD. They started this factory and the airplanes are the same or almost the same as SD. All of their airplanes are Quick Build, hinges glued in place, canopy glued in place, firewall done, pull pull cables done, etc. Should be a good seller but do not know about parts, they are just getting started.

I have a set of wheel pants for this scheme....they are new and never mounted. Let me know if you still need them.
I also have a few airframe parts for 40% Flame scheme and silver scheme Yaks. Wings, Tail feathers, Cowls etc.

Thanks to Rocky at Ace Hobby for getting my elevators and new cowl. I am back in business.

I hope everyone who needed some parts has been helped. I think it will be much easier to get parts for the TOC planes in the future.

I am happy that some of you are getting parts, I am a dealer for Ace Hobby and talk to Danny 2 or 3 times a week and still cannot get parts.

Default Many people need parts for a Thunder Tiger/TOC airplane?

It's a real shame things went this way for the line.

I know Pilot R/C is new, but if they can keep up the level of accomodation they are
currently showing the community, most will be making that their next purchase.

I have two 35% SD Yaks and like them alot, but my next plane has to be different.

I feel sorry for the reputable dealers like Valey View who have stuck with the line and really tried.

I have been selling this airplane since Sammyy Lee first came to Kent WA and I still think it is the best flying airplane on the market today. I am going to stick it out until they turn out the lights on this project at Ace Hobby, which may not be very long. TBM has already ordered from Pilot RC, Chief Aircraft and I have been contacted by them wanting to sell us airplanes and PARTS. It is the same airplane as the TT-TOC only as a quick build and they do have parts that they will get to you in three to four days from China. This is a lot more than I can say about what we have now, I hope it turns around soon or it is lights out for TT-TOC.
