I'm in the market for a new 100cc. Pilot RC is probably going to be my next airplane.

TBM has already ordered from Pilot RC, Chief Aircraft and I have been contacted by them wanting to sell us airplanes and PARTS. It is the same airplane as the TT-TOC only as a quick build and they do have parts that they will get to you in three to four days from China. This is a lot more than I can say about what we have now, I hope it turns around soon or it is lights out for TT-TOC.

They are not the same. I have a sd/ace, and a pilot. They are similar but not the same, the yaks are close but not the same, there are others also with Pilot, and SD yaks and also have stated this. The extras are substantially bigger........ I am ultra happy with the quality of my pilot 871

It's a shame...Ace could have had a homerun with these planes. Proven fliers with good durability. all they had to do was stock and ship them. Sounds like Pilot-RC will take up where they left off. Sounds like their customer service is top notch and the planes are nice too. Also, they can be very competitive as there is no US business needing to make a profit. Very nice to be able to deal directly with the manufacturer

Sounds like pilot RC is comin on strong, I wonder if it will last, time will tell. Now if they would just build a 40% yak to out do the SD, then Im in....cause my SD rocks. But then again it is only 36lbs....with a DA170.

I think with so many covering schemes and plane sizes it made it too hard to stock all the different parts. I asked Rocky about offering a line of all white replacement parts. He said more than half the people wanting parts were against it.

What do yall think? How many of you would be happy with all-white replacement parts if they were always in stock? It would be easy to customize them to match our planes.

No I,d want the correct part. I would suggest that they would set aside X amount of incoming whole planes to part out as needed. I know this creates a problem it self as it always seems the same common parts are needed such as left wing, cowel, and canopy. However ACE could have a end of the year sell at reduced prices for the rest of the plane parts. If they get parts in they could also replace what was used durning the year as parts and sell the entire plane at a reduced price. I know I would buy a new fuselage to replace my hanger rashed one, minus tail feathers, cowel, canopy. I just hope our friend Rocky is on his way to recovery. The TT TOC PLANES are the best ARF gaint scales in several areas: Workmanship Weight, Price Performance Stall chartristics ;MHO Unbeatable; www.carolinaskydancers.com

Well I just stumped out the change for a new 100cc 260. I sold my old SD 260 and that is the BEST FLYING BUILT UP ARF I have ever had the pleasure to fly.

I busted up the cowl after changing motors and it looked gawd awful. Not able to get a new one so out it went. We glassed the cowl up and it looks tidy now but the new Pilot-RC just looks that bit better.

This one will be fitted with a DA85 on pipe, 9156 Futaba servos all round, Smartly EQ6 with LiPo flight packs from Flight power. Lipo with reg on ignition. Those 2200 MaH flight packs weigh nothing.

This puppy is going to be light light light. No smoke, no bells and whistles, just as basic as it comes.
