I don't know if they will fit or not, I wish I would have contacted them first, a 30% Russian Thunder cowl at ACE is $102.99

If anyone is interested I just lost my 35% sd yak today and have some parts for sale. The motor shut off in a hover 20' up so it pancaked in hard on the gear and broke the motor box and some of the bottom. Im going to list the parts here on FG when I get a chance but anyways I have two good wings, the stabs and rudder all in good shape. Its the red, white, and two blues scheme that was discontinued. Also the canopy is broken but the frame is fine.

Word I got was that all the Pilot planes are at least slightly different from the SDs with several being significant redesigns and that other than canopies and maybe LGs, not much is likely to fit. I have a pair of SD 260's one of which will die due to the high prices and lack of availablity at TT.

I was just on Ace's site. I see where they list part numbers but no price or availability. How do you find out what they have?

Thats what she said! ITS ONLY A HALF INCH, COME ON If you are a carpenter, you know the game. " Thats what she said" LOL Had a guy who would hold his tape measure at 1 inch to take a measurment " cut a inch" and would at times cut a board 1 inch short, pass me the board to install, I,d have to hand it back stating "inch short white boy " He,d reply " thats what she said! Just some on the job humor. You,d be supprised how many times you could use those four words to zing a guy on the job. Depending on the situation , it was extremely funny, and helped pass the time.

I think we will hold up on ordering any more airplanes from ACE until they can get a stock of parts and a decent price for them. I have 13 airplanes on order now and many parts and no one seems to care about it. They did send me two cowls for 30% Russian Thunders but the retail price was $112.10, I cannot charge my customers that much for a $20.00 cowl. Danny keeps telling me next container?? We will see. Sorry guys but I do not have any parts at all in stock, I have sold out all of my parts inventory that I had from SD and do not know when I will be getting any more from ACE. Danny is my sales rep and he told me that Rocky is no longer in charge of the TT-TOC airplanes, so I do not know what is going on there at ACE.
Sorry
Tom

Wow is all I have to say . I am still at ACE doing the planes. I am still out of the office due to the fact I have four broken bones in my foot . I also drive 93 miles each way to work so being on crutches and in a booot make it kinda hard to get in right now.HOpefully in a couple week ill be back in the office. And yes we have a container of PARTS that will be here early Jan. Sorry for the delays
