bob,
did you get that orange pitts yet?
just curious as to how the wings are held on. looks like bottom wing is held on with pins through the wingtube.
also how are the struts held on?
the only place that i can tell they are actually bolted is throught cabanes into the center section, which also holds the top wing together.

NO rick we are the SOLE importer now for these and if they and any other dealer wish to carry them they will only have to contact us.. we are in the process of stocking them in the USA in 3 warehouses and providing a fulltime sales staff.

Other post may tell you otherwise but just watch and see.. time will tell the story.. 2009 will be a big year for KnoxHobbies and these products..

I see you have a picture of my model on your web site now. I wish I could get it shipped. I hope you have better luck getting things shipped than I have had. Maybe next week it will get shipped.

Hi everybody,
Let me give you a little background on that orange scheme: I have been in contact with Chang at the factory for quite some time now. Before he ever got a distributor here in the states, Kyle and I had seen his website. (even before it was translated into English!) He is a very likable guy, even though I've never met him. I've only seen the pics and the info he has e-mailed me and all the planes seem to be of the best of quality.

Kyle used to talk to a guy on RC Groups named Mike Hall and wound up getting one of Mike's Aerolock Models Pitts M-12 kits from him. When it got to the stage of covering it he found the picture of the real one on the internet that he liked a lot. He e-mailed the owner and asked if it was okay to copy the paint scheme. I'm guessing that it was alright with him and about two weeks later Kyle had this really exquisite looking M-12 sitting on his work bench. He had copied the orange scheme from three pictures off the internet. Good eye, even if I do say so myself!

We had seen Chang's original paint scheme that looked like the blue and yellow Goldberg color scheme. We e-mailed him the one of Kyle's plane and it really didn't take too long to see what ya'll are seeing! I'll be latching on to one of these soon in that orange scheme so I can get my big bipe fix. Kyle's Aerolock M-12? It's hanging in his room ready to fly. I just don't have the heart to take it out without him so I'll let it hang for now. If I put one of these big ones together, at least I'll be able to see the thing! Kyle's Pitts is an awesome flyer and I've flown it for a few minutes at a time. It will 3-D and blow your mind in a minute........ Too much for me!

$875 with S&H and a custom scheme...!!!!!!!!...........wow at the DOD in Houston , I could be mistaken but I sware he told me @ $1,495.00...thats why I shy'd away from it, but $875.00 to my door sounds very nice. What is the price in ARC, It looked nicely done, but its still a chinese arf and I would make mods and triple check all the glue joints, and put an 85 on it.

The $875 price was directly from CHHobbies from China. I have not actually received the model yet.
