Mike, no need to PM, we offer these planes in the bones on our website www.knoxhobbies.com
They are $949.00 plus shipping. These are custom builds. I do know that we have 3 custom builds on order and shipping costs could be affected (lowered) if you order at the same time, these were placed this week. Thanks Chuck |

All-
Thanks for coming to see us in Kingsbury and I apologize for not being able to attend as I really wanted to meet all of you. I want to take a minute to say GOOD JOB to Chuck for pulling this together for I know what it is to pull off. It sounds lik eit was a first class event. Also Congrats to MR. Pool for winning the KH small Pitts and the engine from Delta RC. Do No try this at Home we are what you call experts-- Little joke.. I do want to take a second to inform all in the public that Chuck was insrtructed to do some high risk functional testing of the Big Pitts.. It was of mixed thoughts that the 95" needed the fying wires. And of course the the only way to find out where the edge is to GO FOR IT! We we did and let me tell without a shadow of a doubt the pitts in the current configuration REQUIRES the flying wires. Please do not try to fly it with out them. The irframe is fine and wll service you well whn built a designed.

Here are a few pics of the cabane setup and interior structure on my 95" Pitts Bulldog. We are in the process of making a few mods to the flying wire setup and will post more pics after this is complete. I included a pic of the box that I built for the reciever batteries located mid way between the tail and back of the canopy.

I spoke to Clay and he has modified his center section to remain on the plane and he is also running the wires as instructed by Ch-Models. He did change the mounting to his preference but to each his own in this case. We have been speaking to him as well about adding his gear as an optional upgrade along with a hardware packge to be purchased at an atrractive price during initial order.
I appreciate everyones understanding that airframe as it was intended to be built is sound and realiable. I will recieve my new plane on Monday and hope to have it flying by the 16th so we can take it to our local Biplane and Triplane event. Sincerely Chuck Hochhalter Knoxhobbies sponosred Pilot |

Chuck, I have a question...the yellow plane at Kingsbury weighed less than yours but had a 150 and smoke equipment. Am I remembering correctly? It was @ 27# and yours was @ 29#.. or am I confused?
I really NEED this plane so I can do some mods...I 'm thinking Python styling with an 85 on a pipe... ![]() Oh man my gears are turning......lol

There some confusion on the weights, I think that the Bulldog is going to be reweighed. Mine was just over 28 lbs with some gas in the tank.
I will be more public with this build, ie pics and weights, I was in such a hurry last time that didnt bother trying post. Chuck Hochhalter |
