You were right about hearing $1495.00 for a price but I think the folks at Blazing Wings are the one that had that price. Give me a PM and I'll fill you in on some more bits on this. Seems like there were several wannabe distributors and I'm guessing that the Knox Hobbies folks must have won that war. As far as the planes go, I'm hearing pretty good stuff from the other side of the world from a fellow that got one of the blue/yellow ones. At $875.00 shipped, we are gonna look like Christmas shoppers coming through the front door of a Walmart store at midnight opening!

I had a very nice phone conversation with Dwayne from Knox Hobbies today and he gave me some insight on their operation. I think we are all in for a refreshing new selection of planes at great prices. We swapped some info we had collected on CH Models and shared some interesting stories.

He had told me of a green version of the Pitts that was at Bomber Field. I wasn't there for both days that weekend but our friend Doug and my son Kyle were. His "green Pitts" is the plane that Kyle was telling me about and was all excited about! Now that Kyle is gone, every little tidbit of info that comes back to me via other people that had talked to Kyle is all the more interesting! I feel like this is happening a whole lot lately and probably for good reason. I've gotten e-mails from several manufacturers and I'm going ahead and building some of these projects as if Kyle will still be with me. This is just another way of keeping me excited about this hobby even though Kyle is not here now.

At this point, stay tuned to what Dwayne is going to present to us all. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! I know I was!

hey guys i have been skimming with this thred i was wondering if the ch pitts is the same as as the one that blazing wings has to offer? becouse i got mine from blazing wings about 4 mounths ago and i am in the building stages right now i had mine custom colored in the green . the first one that thay built was the old verision and i didn't want it , so thay sold that one and i got the up graded version. sofar this is a great plane and i am very impressed with the airframe i think that the first one went to a guy in texas and it was green also becouse i was the one that come up with the green color scheam i will keep ya posted with the build

just a thought rick pinto from nc was the one that got the first green pitts and he sold it becouse he went to a toc pitts that was bigger and he told me that it went to a guy in texas.. wonder if this is the same one you guys are talking about .anyone know how it flys???

These are one in the same. All the Pitts M12's that Blazing wings sold, came from CH Models in China. I still say this plane if you can still get if for $750.00 is a steal. Great looks, great price and solid construction.
