I was on what seemed to be a never ending search for some a123 batteries within
my (rediculously sad) budget. I needed a battery that would work with my A123Racing SonicCharger, wich required a battery pack with a single wire balance plug. The only packs I had ever seen with only one balance wire were the A123Racing brand batteries, wich run around $60 bucks for a 6.6v 2300mah pack. I was searching google, and found www.rclipos.com . I found the same batteries that are being sold for $60 bucks everywhere else, for only $44.99!!! unbelievable! I placed an order online, and not 2 hours later I recieved a confirmation email with an order number and a personal thank you from Pat, the owner of the company. I wrote him back and asked a few questions about the batteries, and he answered right back very quickly. 3 days later, a very well-packed box showed up in my mailbox. super quick delivery from Santa Ana Cali to St. Louis Missouri! Well anyway, i just wanted to share my great battery buying experience ![]() please check out www.rclipos.com !!! |

radicalrc.com is another great place to get them from. They will do custom packs for not much over the baseline price. I ended up with a 6.6V 2300 with two leads plus a balance tap for right at the $44 mark. It's been working great so far.
Just bookmarked the RC lipos site - lots of great stuff there! |

I purchased my 123's from radicalrc and they made them just the way I wanted them. I waned one lead for charging and power and they did it. Works perfect with the cellpro charger. I will be buying more from radical, they are great to deal with.

I just placed an order for three 25C/50C 2200 3S packs at only $49 each! And these are Polyquest batteries!
They also have A123's in 1100mah preassembled or as single cells. I almost bought the single cells, but only $27 for an assembled 2S pack with a Dean's connector and balance tap is just too good a price to pass up.
