Default X9303 2.4 Trainer Programming and Mix

OK, everyone, I need your help with setting up the JR X9303 2.4 for Training mode.

I have 2 X9303 transmitters.
I have the main one set to MASTER in the Trainer screen.
I have the second one set to SLAVE in the Trainer screen.

I have transferred my model from the MASTER to the SLAVE transmitters for all mixing etc.
All settings show that they are the same for the selected model.

I hook both the master and slave with the buddy box cord. All is well so far.

When I depress the trainer button, it transfers control to the slave.

Here's the problem. I have 2 channels tied together for Elevator and 2 channels tied together for ailerons.

The master works great.
The slave however, seems to have one half of the elevator and aileron on low rate, and the other on high rate or some mix-up in the travel of each half. They are definately not moving at the same rate.

When I tried this before transferring my model to the slave receiver, the second half of the elevator and aileron didn't work at all. Probably because of my mixing the channels together.
I did not set any of these up on Y-adapters, since the radio can tie them together.

HELP.

Thanks,
Terry

Okay, here's a shot in the dark as I've not tried to setup a trainer situation since moving to JR.

Have you inhibited the slave channels for the mixes used on the trainer box?

Transfering a model from one tx to another may not include inhibiting the slave channels???

I haven't used this for dual servos but it has worked for everything else. Instead of using the Normal Trainer mode on your 9303 master transmitter, use the Program Trainer. That is opt one or more of the surfaces to the SLAV position on the master. In the Program Trainer mode only the slave stick positions are carried over to the master. The master provide all the mixes, rates, etc.

Thanks. I think that actually worked.
I do not need any of the programming in the 2nd radio.
Also, on the master radio, I set the 4 channels (throttle, aileron, rudder and elevator) to slave. That seems to make everything work correctly.
I also see those 4 work on the 2nd radio perfectly, and when the master radio switches to high rates, that transfers correctly. Also the 2nd radio does not allow ANY of the switches to work. That way they can't shut off my ignition or switch something that could make us lose control.

Thanks again.
