Hi Vic3D.

Yeah, we got colonized by Spain, hence the name from King Philip of Spain, but we don't speak it dominantly. Some of our dialects use Spanish words but that is it. Lots of Spanish families took roots here though, as well as Chinese, Japanese, Americans & Europeans. We are an Archipelago with 7,101+ islands, so people & culture are pretty scattered throughout. English is taught early in school as a secondary language, I don't think we would have a problem conversing in English.
