Dubai hosted an Airshow & is still ongoing.

I would have wanted to attend all the dates but I can't, work & all.

I saw how a Rafale fly, very nice high alpha stuff with power to weight ratio that is truly amazing.

I saw the latest F-16 doing what the Rafale can do, with high G turns. It has single engine but it was noisy & deafening as hell than the twin turbines of the Rafale.

I saw a Mig-29 Fulcrum. Nothing fancy, basic aerobatic Soviet stuff. Pretty muscular & effective.

I saw the Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker, though I think it was an older version with no canards & thrust vectoring, so it was just doing basic aerobatic stuff.

Plus the Airbus A380 doing the tightest turns you could ever imagine. Big, fat but very floaty, almost looks like a foamy flying around.

The highlight of them all was the F-22 Raptor. It kicks everyone's ass. No one can touch this plane. Lord have mercy on anyone who faces this plane in the air. Imagine doing a straight up vertical climb, then pulling a high G outside flip on the apex & entering a controlled flat spin going down. It can deploy it's armaments in all angles & you never knew what hit you. Low speed high alpha, high G turns, stealth capability, & power that never runs out, this is THE ultimate fighter plane. Nothing came close.


Unfortunately, I did not have a camera on hand yesterday.


However, I did have one today. These are all I got on film...


BAe Hawk Aerobatic team. These are not the red arrows, i think they are French or something.




























I still say the F-22 was the highlight of the show. I just don't have a pic, maybe next time.

Astang, no need to use a starterbelt coz i think it's dangerous,just reverse the
polarity of your starter and put a spinner.
