Default On board video camera quality

Guys.

I have asked this question on here before but never really found what I was looking for so here we go again.

I want an on board video camera system that is light weight, suitably powerful for at least 2 miles unobstructed zero loss reception. I would like something that generates 400 plus lines so the definition is good. It need not be excellent as I realize the higher the lines the higher the price but at the same time I see a lot of the better quality systems at prices that are nothing short of gouging.

What is it that I am looking for.

A small camera with great definition, color of course. 1 watt transmitter and a reasonable high gain receiver system.

Preferably something that can plug into a laptop directly so no need for the small LCD display etc.

So anyone who is fiddling with this stuff and has good results please share them here. I have the glider, the on board data systems ready but this durned camera setup is a real PITA. Especially at a price that I dont need to mortgage the house to get it.
