Default Flying Giants Welcome to our International friends.

Flying Giants Opens up the world of IMAC to our much larger international audience this week with the release of our exclusive multi language IMAC Forums. As many of you know the recent election of officers for the IMAC Board Of Directors has delivered us with a board who you can only say are anxious to get the sport into a larger global community. Under the guidance of the new board we at Flying Giants are just bursting at the seams to help make IMAC the sport and fun competition many have envisaged or dreamed about for the past few years.

So to kick off the 2009 season we have open up the new multi language forums. This new forum can be found at http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/fg283/ and your welcome to come join the party immediately.

What is the goal of this?

Well one is many of our fellow modelers cannot or do not write in English, just as many of us dont write in Portuguese or Spanish. But why are we holding out the ability to cross communicate just because of a tiny language barrier. Today's forum tools allow us to roughly translate from one language to another, but better yet we have a lot of bilingual and multi lingual members on the site who can help out.

Today we have several very keen individuals willing to help out in assuring that these threads don't turn into political or bashing threads as does happen if things are not managed here. The forums we have in mind need not just be IMAC releated. If your having difficulties setting up a plane or wanting information on local clubs etc then this is the place to come and ask for help. As I said regardless of the language we will assure you that help will come even if it takes someone the time to translate your questions so the entire community can help.

Ladies and Gents, the RC hobby and in particular the IMAC community has given me such a wealth of new friends and knowledge that I feel it is only right to try and share that and give something back to those in need of help or advice.

I hope we at Flying Giants can make that happen and be the place you call home for your RC and IMAC requirements.

A warm welcome to you all.

Allan J Main

Será um prazer auxiliá-lo em português (I Will be glad to help you in portuguese) :

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Great idea guys. Personally I'm a born and raised Portuguese man living in Colorado and I love this here. I've helped some good friends in Portugal posting questions here at FG and the answers are great. People do really share their experiences and ideas. I'll offer my help in Portuguese and English translations as well.

Bruno, where are you from? I used to fly at ACCV in Paramos near Espinho

Nice Antonio...I saw in your Avatar that you are from Portugal.
I just talked to Kiwi, we first tough in the Latin America when opened up this forum but Portugal and Spain have lots of good pilots who can seriously fly IMAC and can post here on their mother tongues. You are all welcome to join the party !

Man, that´s an excelent idea. My friend BrunoMacedo are very responsable and good pilot in Brazil. When I saw the homepage of flyinggiants today, what a good surprise, this is the best notice to our pilots in Brazil to change ideas with other pilots around the world, many pilots don´t speak and understand english. I like so much, and enjoy the Idea.

For that mans how don't know BrunoMacedo, I invite to visit my website that I created in portuguese. In the website, Bruno have a space and there he talk about aerobatics, judges, setups, etc...
The url is www.hangar3d.com

Thank you FlyingGiants
