Default e-flite extra 260 or 3DHS edge 540

I have a 480 motor and 40 amp esc and am considering between 2 planes the e-flite extra 250 or the 3d hobby shop edge 540, any suggestions, or other options?

I just ordered the 3dhobby shop edge. I am taking everything out of the e-flite extra 260 because it has some structural problems(I broke it). The extra is a great flying plane but I want to see how the 3d hobbyshop products are built. The e-flite stuff is pretty fragile. My edge should be in today and I am going to post some pics as I build.

3D Hobby Shop Edge 540 all the way. Lightweight yet very robust and flies great. Hard to find that combinatin in most planes these day.

Just got the maiden in in my 3DHS 40" edge today. All I can say is it is awesome. I have the e-flite 480 with 40amp esc and it is unreal. Knife edge almost hands off with a little rudder. Cant beat it for the price.

Awesome airplane Scott. I have wondered about the 3DHS airframes for a while, now I am ready to purchase some other airframes. I have found me a new suppplier of fine equipment. Will post some pics soon.

I just built the 55' edge this weekend.. It is the BEST plane I have built YET.. We have not flown it yet.. It is my friend Wes's.. I will report when I get to fly it.. I compared it to the 55'' Katana.. It is lighter and more wing.. It should be awesome..
