The EF 110" Yak. It presents itself like a 40% plane. It would definitely be worth the wait.

I have all winter to wait for it.

Yeah, I think that guy could make a GIANT UCANDO look good. I wish the EF 100c extra was next up but, it looks like it'll be awhile. Has anybody tried the PAU 36% EDGE?

The edges are a popular choice when it comes to 3D. The straight leading edge and unique airfoil help in slow flgiht. The PAU edge would be a great 3d plane. I flew mine for the first time yesterday and its amazing. 3d's great, and looks incredible in the sky. They are in stock right now.

i haven't flown the 36% pau but i have flown the 43% and it is awesome. it is even a good straight line plane! there really aren't many bad tendencies that need mixing! it is GOOD! now, when i flew it i was doing the OPP thing so i didn't get all crazy but it sure was stable in all attitudes.

we have a pau ultimate in our fleet as well and it is safe to say that herve, the owner of pau, is VERY concerned about customer service! they are great to deal with and i believe that their service is "DA like"!!!!

the fact that they are in stock and ready to ship makes them even that more attractive. the EF 110" is awesome as well but if you don't want to wait the pau edge would be a viable choice. take your pic and enjoy!

The PAU edge is a unique Edge.

I've flown it and I can't 3-D very well. I can only talk of those who I've seen 3-D it. It does everything you ask of it.

As for IMAC, I have done that with it. I had no problem with anything on this plane. Snaps and rolls were crisp and stop on release. As for spins. I noticed it climbed just a touch, but all it takes is a finesse on the elevator to stop that. A few tries later I didn't have an issue. No mushiness on the stall for the spin either. It entered it just fine.

This is a good all around plane. The price is right as well because it is a complete ARF with 90% of the work done and comes with TOP OF THE LINE hardware.

I am convinced a great pilot can make just about any plane 3d well. So long as you nail the power to weight and proper setup of the plane its harder to get an all out BAD plane now. Thats just the truth.

AW 260. I am working on my second one now. I also agree that it is the sticks that make the plane do what it does, so you can't go wrong with any of the previous recommendations.

I have flown two of them; one with a DA-85 and one with a DA-100. The 85-powered plane was lighter and great fun to throw around but the 100-powered Edge had better power-weight for IMAC maneuvers and was still plenty light for great 3D. I honestly think this plane does better in precision than my Comp-ARF Extra 2.6M, and of course it rawks for 3D.
