Those aren't A123's they are just lithium nanophosphates. They are the same chemistry but not A123 brand. You should be ok, but I would go ahead and cycle them a couple times to make sure they are the capacity they claim. I had some chinese li-nanos that I bought that claimed 1100mah but the most I could get out of them was 700ma. They would also barely hold 6V on a 2.5 amp load. So if you have a means of pulling some amps while checking voltage I'd do that, too. Just lookin' out for ya.

It's very simple. AW already has rudder servo mounts back there on both sides of the fuse. I don't have the 300 but I have their 260 and it's probably about the same. If the back of the servo cutout is about 4-3/4" then you need a 4.5" H9 pro-link turnbuckle. You will mount the servo with the shaft on the aft side and the servo arm pointing up. You will need a 1.25 to 1.5" arm.
Also, if you only plan to use one high-powered servo then mount it on the right side. It won't get as dirty that way.

Bodywerks Booma RC checks there packs to see if they hold what they say they hold. I ordered there charger to. So I will check them just to be sure. Thanks

Just FYI 1.25 inch arms are plenty long. I'm running 125% on my Jr 9303 on the ailerons and it goes bevel to bevel. I can go to 140%. But my linkage geometry is perfect. 1.25 MLP air wild arms are the ticket with this plane.

How did this plane balance out with the DA 85 on it? Were you able to move things forward and make it work?

Where are any of you guys ending up at on the CG? The manual says 4.25" back from the LE at the tip. Has anyone tried it further back than this?

Thanks, Jim

Where did you hook the linkage up on the rudder? I put mine on the furthest hole out for a straighter shot to the servo arm. The 300 could be different. I like the JR arms because they can be anywhere from 1/2 to 1.5" in one arm.

I haven't done the rudder yet. If you look in my post you will see I was referring to the ailerons. Sorry if I misled anyone. And I hooked the linkage up the way the instructions said to. I think it was outer arm center hole, Inner arm closest hole. How are you guys hooking them up?

Here I copied this from the instructions.

The ball link for the root end
control horn goes in the bottom hole of the horn.
The ball link for the tip end horn goes in the middle
hole of the horn. This gives the correct offset

to eliminate binding and twisting of the aileron.
