I Have been thinking about snagging up one of these to learn how to fly on. I have never actually flown any helis other than the axe ez style counter rotating blade stuff, but I can hove nose in/out fly the pattern and hover inverted on realflight. Would this be biting off more than I can chew or can I probably hadle it? |

Dead Roman,
Hello sir. The King 2 stock motor is brushed, you need to upgrade to brushless motor/esc combo. It has a rate gyro, tail does not hold that well, but setup properly it still is flyable. I suggest you go with a 450, a Trex SE V2 or any the clones will do. Best size that is small budget but flies stable & has tons of parts support. No I don't own a Trex. I have a Wing V2, design wise it's a chopsuey of Trex designs, plus improvements that the Trex doesn't have, like solid servo mounting blocks for added structural rigidity around the main shaft.

I think the King 2 is good for you. Belt CP is also good too and it come with brushless motor and 1800mah lipo battery. You can consider that too.
