Default South Central IMAC in San Antonio

I am considering putting on a contest next year in San Antonio at the Kingsbury Aerodrome.
If you love aviation, this is the place to visit, we have many flyable WWI planes in the hangars surrounding the field that can be viewed.

Last contest here was in 2006 I believe and the turnout was good ( checked back... 20 pilots in September)

I can promise the plaques to be very unique and good support from the local club.

I am think either mid April between El Paso and Humble (Jetero) according to the schedule last year or the middle of June. This allows another POINTS opportunity for the SHOOTOUT and also more practice for NATS.

Please share your thoughts and if you are willing to support the effort.

Chuck,

We (Prop Nuts) have a big Flea Market Fly Inn on the 18th, 19th of April. The week before (11,12) is Easter. Check with Jetero to see if they have contacted Eddie about having thiers. It has been the last week end in April. I heard a rumour they may not be able to have thiers because of the hurricane damage. I don't know if that's true or not though.

Chuck, Phil and I have been ther twice before for IMAC. I'm sure we will be in attendance if another is held.

We are thinking about having our IMAC event on April 4&5, which is pretty close to our 2008 dates. Still tenative at this time.

Also, the SA NATS are earlier this year, last week of June I think.

He's gonna be a SH Fighter Jock. F-15's. He probably won't talk to any of us mere mortals anymore. I still wish I had a picture of the Donkey Suit to remind him what he really is.

Chuck,

You can count on some of us in Midland trying to make it.

Daniel
