have you run the motor... it is a stump puller..... Prolly gonna need a 3 blade to tame that beast!!!

Take a look at the attached pics. Instead of cutting the slots on top of the aileron I cut them inside the control surface. The distance from the hing line came out to exactly 1 inch. I used the fiber glass horns that can with the kit and just shaved of the tab that is used to mount them in top of the aileron. I hope this helps.

Unfortunately I have not been able to work on the Katana. My company is going through a hard patch and I am looking for work. Hopefully things will get better soon.

Take a look at my web sit at www.galaxyairships.com . That is how far we got until we had a hanger fire and lost our 75ft blimp. My current investors had to pull out because of the bad economy.

All that is in the Ultimate is the engine. The Katana still has all of the servos in it. Just saving up for another engine.

Yes, very sad indeed. I would love to see one of those blimps in person!!!...I have had this build thread link for quite some time, and am just now taking a close look at it....damn, all the fuss about the ailerons.....also, I am proud to say I am the current owner and builder (attempted) of his other Kat, the red/yellow/black one......I'm still not understanding why people are trying to tell Mr. White how to build his plane..

Have you finished this Kat yet? I am very interested in the outcome!!

On a side note, I am open for any and all advice lol..
