now I cant wait for this one!!!!!!!!Iam in the process of finishing off the new 43% edge 540 and the design changes from the 40% Carden versions are awesome!Iam sure the ultimate will be SICK!Iam thinking of using the 300 wing on the edge too???

I had a chat with Dennis abt this the other day!he assured me that they may be out at the end of summer?he said that they will be looking at a few key points to make this plane lighter than the prototype and possibly wings with tube and sockets?be patient lads

Hi Guys, I was talking with Dennis the other day about the Ultimate. We discussed the wings, wing mounting and cabanes. Dennis wants to make sure that the design is right which means ease of building and user friendly. The last thing he wants is a kit that is difficult to build and have kits started and not finished due to build difficulty. When he has it just right it will be released and you will have a good experience from build to flight. Be patient, it will be coming later in the year and will be worth your while.

Yeah I spoke with Dennis earlier in the week. Said they are still working on the Ultimate but that it has been pushed back due to the 124" Extra.. Should be a killer plane for IMAC and can wait for the Ultimate. It will be a good airplane as well!

I know Dennis has a couple irons in the fire, but I'm not sure what the status is on the Ultimate at the moment. I'll see if I can get some more info out of him this week.

Cool.
I love Ultimates. This would be my 4th one, and largest. I am looking to build one for winter 2011-2012, I currently have the 35% Edge on my table. I am on track to complete around mid February. I now have the Carden building bug Building this Ultimate would be, well.... Ultimate!!!!

I spoke with Dennis over the past weekend. The Ulitmate is still on the table. He will be finishing the mods to the design over the next couple months. I like the mods being done and should be another perfect flying design as Dennis is known for. Be patient as it will be right before it is released.
