Does it tow gliders too? Looking for a tug around that size.

I'm building a quarter scale piper pawnee. Is there anyone who can tell me where I should position the release hook?

Good news! We will be able to incorporate the cowl! About a third of the cylinder heads will protrude out each side. The cowl will be split into an upper and lower half & will be reinforced substantially with fibreglass. We'll also have to do some internal baffling on the heads to keep things cool..

We are getting close to buttoning up the nose portion of the Porter build. We added NACA inlets to the top of the cowl to aid in cooling the 106. Also, I am ordering an True Turn Ultimate style pollished aluminum spinner and a Meczlik 26x12 three blade prop. In addition, we are going to have the mufflers pollished out as well. Should look real cool when it all comes together!

As close to the CG as posible. I have seen pawnee's with the tow hook just behind the canopy, or you could use a bridal type setup at or near the CG. Both will work as long as the structure around the tow hook(s) is sound.

Hello,
this is my first post in the FlyingGiants forum. I show you my favorite Tugs.
The first one is my Bellanca 1:2,5 from Fliegerlandshop (Germany) with ZDZ 160, 4000mm wingspan and 23,5 kg weight. The second is my Swisstrainer 1:2,8 from Bruckmann Modellbau (Austria) with 3W 140, 3600mm wingspan and 19 kg weight. Both drag very good, it is a pleasure with them.
I hope the upload with the pictures works.
Ralf
