That's the 88" Extra 300. It flies great but it's no 260!
Here's the 87" 260 with a DL50:

Sleepy, great build thread! Any chance you'll have a AUW before the end of the month (I may have to place an order!)? I'd love to know what you get with the 57 and can. I know Pilot-RC got sub 16# with the DL50 but I'd love to hear what you come out with. Thanks!

I'll postage scale it as soon as it's finished.

The plane does feel lite.
I think it should be 16 +/- 1 lb.

I would say nothing under 200oz each.

I'm using 8611a's on all surfaces.

The plane is 90% done.
Trying to figure out a throttle arm for the MT-57.

And I'm waiting for a few regs and batteries to show up.
(My buddy ran out of money , so he had to wait to get paid )

Once those things are installed she will be ready to fly.

Here is one thing I can mention... the weather here in Ohio has been up and down lately.
from 50 deg to today -10.
A plane that is sitting next to the pilot rc plane on the floor looks like B-Arthers neck. The covering looks as though it may just fall off. The pilot RC plane's covering is tight as the day it arrived.

Pretty cool!

I used the standoffs supplied with the DA-50R, they works perfectly with all the markings for the DA/DL engines. So if you haven't bought your DA engine yet you don't have to worry about the standoffs.

Any updates, Sleepy? I have three people here (me included) chomping at the bit to pick up the 260's but we're waiting on an expert flight report
