Well I have these plans but never did get to build it since I have too much on my plate, but I do hear from different source, that Hostettler designs are strongly built, maybe a bit over built, but strong and fly great.

Regards
Roger

Hi Huffy,
I had build that model from hostettler plans and I had to change direction in the middle of the project as soon as I started the wings. I found that the ribs dont match when I tried to assamble coz my plan was I think distorted in printing .I made a plug of the airframe ,cowl and canopy and moulded the plane ,I done it in epoxy construction and foam wings and tails by using only the tips and roots .The prototype came out heavy but the second model was fantatic which endid up in a crash after the headers on the 2w broke and engine quit on approach,The wings where covered on oracover and airbushed allround .Now I increased the surface area of the tail and rudd for more 3d performance on my 3rd model and as light as possible ,Im planning to try the dle170 engine and im running jr 8411 servos,3 per ail ,4 rudd and 2 per elev .very good plane to fly,any questions dont hesitate to ask pls.

There is one of them about 60% built right here in San Antonio, the builder is an old friend of mine that has not flown in around 10 years or so but he is a fantastic builder.
