Default 73 inch Ultimate

Hi all,

Just got my maidenflight with my brandnew ultimate. Flew like it has never done anything else, didn't need to trim anything at all. The engine (DA50) also did a great job. Man, I already love this plane.

I'm glad you like it. Its a kit build plane from weiershauser www.emhw.de
All in wood (except the cowl, canopy and landinggear ofcourse)

Weight is about 16.5 lbs, wingspan 73 inch, lenght about 77 inch.

Took me a year to build it and am glad the maidenflight was a succes.

WOW 16.5 lbs. My WM Ultimate 63" wingspan weighs that much. You must build light to have 73" wings and a canister setup. How is the performance of the DA50 on a canister?

Been flying the plane the whole weekend, man I love it more and more. Engine does a great job, goes vertical unlimited. Even rolls are pretty straight (had to do some mixing for that), knife edge is simple, loopings can me giant and landings are like a trainer.
Thank you all for liking the sheme.
