Default JR 10x setup for Flaps using a matchbox

Wondering if someone could help with a 10x setup question.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to setup my flaps on a 10x using a matchbox. I'm thrown off by which wing type to use, and then which channel the matchbox will plug into for the flaps. If you use quad flaps, you use two channels for both aileron and flaps, I want to use two channels for the ailerons and just one for the flaps.

Here are the channels in use. I want to setup the flaps on a matchbox, leaving what you see below as a final setup on the RX. What you see below for numbering is not corresponding to the RX, but rather just a total channel count. Maybe I'm going about this all wrong, if so, please enlighten me. ...thanks...

Bat - 1
Bat - Will be in a Y on the lights channel
Ele - 2
Ele - 3
Ail - 4
Ail - 5
Flaps - Matchbox - 6
Lights - In a Y on the battery -7
Throttle - 8
Ignition Cutoff - 9
Rudder - 10

I'm thinking you have to set it up as quad flaps per the instruction manual but then only use on of the Flap channels as source.

I'm not sure though, I'd have to refer to my manual. I'm assuming you are using a 2.4 module since you are only using 9 channels?
