There's a couple of people on RCUniverse in the wildhare forums that has built and flown them, so far thats all I can find also.

I'm wanting to get one this spring and I was wanting to know the finish weight of them.

Isn't it the exact same plane with 2" added to each wing?

The original one flew very well and was one of the hottest 50cc Edges on the market.. I don't think much is changed. Excellent bang for the buck.

Major differences between the original 50cc W/H Edge and the two current versions. I don't know if the fuse was changed or not with the 88" version but after having two of the second version 84" Edges there is no comparison between version one and version 2. Wider and lighter airframe being the most significant changes in version 2. V-2 flies head and shoulders better than the original and comes in at a much liighter all up weight. The horizontal stab was slightly moved on V-2 to permit better harriers and it works out nicely for most everything else.

I have people comment periodically how they wish their EF Yak could turn and tumble like my W/H Edge. Better still, I didn't spend near the money on the W/H that they did on the EF.

Sorry I meant the V2 which I was aware is much lighter - I was just saying if the 84" Edge was a great flyer why wouldn't the 88" be when they just added onto the wings. = even lighter wingloading.

Pat you are classic anymore - I didn't give WH a shot, yet you feel the need to give EF a shot since you know I am a supporter. It should tumble better.. it's a lot smaller and an Edge.

Pat,

If you like a plane to tumble and we are already comparing apples to oranges, EF is coming out with a 50CC Cap.

I had a 84" Edge V2 w/Brison 3.2. I sold it and bought a EF 88" Extra. Have you flown a 88" EF Extra? Video Link

Always a pleasure to watch Kyle fly

Pat made a comment awhile back of Kyle's transition from hover to KE when he was flying a Giles and how that said a lot about the plane. In my head I was like, umm no.. that is just Kyle he could almost do that with a trainer haha.

I would love to have his skills.
