Be nice to see some inside pics where to access the main gear bolts stalling them from the inside out. I will be removing them for transport. Will the gas tank be in the way? Picture should tell me right away.

I assume this is the tunnel for a pipe. What is your suggestion for access? You either have to take off the cowl for access or drill a hole on the bottom of the cowl for your hand for access or there is a hole at the other end of the tunnel.

I think he's refering to having access to the landing gear bolts. If you look at the pic there are 2 holes in front of the gear that you can remove the covering from and have easy access to the gear bolts. I have the Wildhare 35% Extra that is built about the same way and I removed the covering to allow more area for exit cooling, should not be a problem on this plane either

If you're going to do removable gear and have cannisters at the same time it won't matter who's plane you choose. You will have some work to do. The cowl will have to come off, same as it would for other manufacturers products. Wild Hare uses a two screw cowl retainer. Easy to work with.
An option would be to install blind nuts in the bottom of the plane for the gear bolts. Install the bolts from the inside of the plane and they would remain fixed in the blind nut. Use green Locktite to set the screws so they don't loosen in the blind nuts. Use wing nuts and lock washers on the bottom (outside) of the gear, or nylock nuts for better security. The low tunnel you see in the picture is indeed the can tunnel. Normally nothing goes in there but cans. Some people like to put a smoke tank there. The gas tank goes on a shelf directly above that tunnel. There is zero interference between the gear mounts and the gas tank. A little more than 4" of separation in fact. That's open air if you don't have cans. Here's a photo of another W/H kit showing a bit more of an upward view of the can tunnel with the tank deck above. All the W/H kits have similar layouts. U-bolts will fit the ticket, installed from the inside down with the nylon bolts on the outside. This will take like 1 minute to install at the field. How far apart are the two holes on one side measured from the center of the holes. That will tell me what size U-bolt? Also how tall and wide is the fuselage with canopy off?
