I've noticed the http://www.letsflyrc.com site is down. Does anyone know if this site is being eliminated and a new IMAC site is being initiated, or is it just down for technical issues?

I hope it isnt getting eliminated. I used it to register for the Superstition challenge a couple weeks ago and it was up yesterday when I checked it.

Still down at 0550 this morning. Emailed Vic and waiting reply.

I have been checking and as of 6pm today the site is still down, has anyone heard from Vic?

From what I heard, it is a problem with the service provider.
Vic is still trying to get it resolved.

Vic is paying for this himself. Maybe his site should be incorporated into the new IMAC site when it is completed.

Any news on the new site.?

I too e-mailed Vic to see what the problem was. In a nutshell, his ISP is down and the only way he communicates with his ISP is through e-mails. So, if he can't e-mail his service provider, he can't resolve the issues.

I'm sure Vic will eventually get it taken care of. I told him I never did donate to his site to keep it up and running. I guess we don't know what we have until it's gone. Maybe when he does get it going, I'm sure a few bucks here and there would be greatly appreciated.

Good Morning Guys,I'm sure Vic is working on it! As an update to your question:; the new site is turning the corner, there will be a registration module that will reside within the imac web site, that will handle all of registration needs. There is alot of progress, and many great things are happening. Also in keeping the membership informed, "Minutes" from Two BOD meetings in Dec will be available shortly! As a heads-up,As you all know; we have alot of talented members, We'll be very interested in some of our technical writer types, as we'll have articles....Example, technical, new product, judging tip, etc, all good stuff to benefit our membership.
Thks for everyone's patience, and stay tuned to the imac site, as "Roll-over" notices are coming !! Yippeeee.........

The only "411" i have is that Vic's Server is down, i know that wayne M. has left him several messages, however no response, Good news, Imac has a registration module that will be functional at any moment now. Just as soon as the webmaster has completed the testing; i'm confident it will take over this vital role.As soon as we get the greenlight, we announce on the website, and here as well.
